Myanmar online property portal Shwe Property will include foreign residential options for the first time at its housing exhibition in Yangon’s Tatmadaw Exhibition Hall on October 18-20, said founder U Kaung Thu Win.
The exhibition, Shwe Property’s fifth so far, will showcase units from the Knight Bridge condominium project in Bangkok.
“Demand to buy foreign properties has increased in recent years so we are including a Bangkok investment option in our exhibition this year. If the sales response is positive, we will continue showcasing foreign condos in our future events,” U Kaung Thu Win said.
Knight Bridge units will be sold at the exhibition by construction firm Aung Pwar Group and can be booked with a 20percent down payment during the exhibition, said U Maung Maung Myint, managing director of Aung Pwar Group. “The project is situated conveniently close to the Bangkok Skytrain,” he said.
Over 150 projects, including ready-to-live apartments, housing units still under construction, mini-condos and condos will be exhibited in the fair.
Apartments and condos in different townships, such as Moe Myint San Construction, Golden City Condominium Project, Shine Construction, Emerald Bay Project, Kanbae Towers Condo, 7th Mile Condo, Grand Myakanthar Condo, the Century Project, 68 Residence, Innocity Service Apartment, SMT Construction and Royal Aung Myanmar Construction will be available for sale.
Apart from property units, luxury cars can also be traded at the event. Options to buy with 25-year bank loans from the largest banks in Myanmar, including AYA Bank, CB Bank and Yoma Bank, will be available, said U Kaung Thu Win.
